Here, in France, diner is sooooo long. Videos, toasts, games… People would enter the room at 8:30 pm and the cake would go between 11:30 or sometimes 12:30 and then first dance and then party until 4, 5, 6 am. Wayyyy too long

I honestly never understood why Rane never put the pads on the mixer and in Battle mode like the Rev7, but at the end of the day. It is a controller. I see it as respect for turntablizm.

Hey Nick, did you notice if it has the beat grid adjust slide feature like the DDJSRT1000 and FLX10. Saves so much time dialling an off beat grids?

I take an in the middle approach that works well in North Carolina. People here get tired of songs when they’ve heard or sung the chorus twice. I typically play the best 2 verses and 2 choruses of each song. The only exceptions are songs that aren’t working and the few songs that people want to hear the whole thing. My dance floors stay packed and I don’t get those dirty looks from people when I cut the song too early and I don’t lose energy by playing the whole song.

Hi Pass filter cut rolls off the signal below the cut off point, which happened to be around 240 Hz.

I really like your energy in this video. One of your most informative real videos in a while. Keep it going. I don't do many gigs but love the ones I do and I always have an assistant (my hubbie) and sometimes another friend to take videos and yes, I always split tips, glad you included that tidbit.
